Squawk Box

The Kahuna will be heard! Squawk Box is a young short-hair male who came to IVAR as an owner-surrender. He’s quite vocal, full of energy and ready to join your active family!

Size up Squawk Box along with more than 100 other cats and over 50 dogs looking for new homes, Wednesday between 6 and 8pm and Sunday from 1 until 3pm at the Illinois Valley Animal Rescue Shelter, near Flying J in LaSalle. For information or an appointment, call 815-224-0061.

Save your aluminum cans for IVAR! There’s a special area at the IVAR shelter for your drop-offs. IVAR gets a special rate from G & W Recycling and puts all the money back into animal care.

You can also support IVAR by visiting IVAR: the Store on 8th and Peoria St. in the old Andy’s Pet Shop in Peru! They’re open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-6 and Saturday 1-4 (hours subject to change).
