Black (on the left) and Willey are brothers who’ve spent their entire lives together. Willey just got a new home through Illinois Valley Animal Rescue. Now it’s Black’s turn! He’s a young, boxer-lab mix who gets along great with kids and other dogs and will make a fantastic family pet.
You can meet Black, along with more than 60 other dogs and over 100 cats looking for new homes Wednesday between 6 and 8pm and Sunday from 1 until 3 at the Illinois Valley Animal Rescue Shelter near Flying J in LaSalle. For information or an appointment call 815-224-0061.

Meet LeRoy! February 22, 2012

LeRoy is an adorable 3 year-old furball (said in the nicest sense)! He’s also Fixed and De-clawed, and for the next 2 weeks, you can see him at Petsmart in Peru! Just stop up there and talk to any of the Petsmart sales associates about going in to see him and then adopting!
IVAR will be at the Illinois Valley Home Garden and Lifestyle show this weekend (Feb 25-26) at Celebrations 150 in LaSalle. And coming up March 31st, it’s the IVAR Auction! If you run a business and would like to donate items for the Auction, call IVAR at (815) 224-0061 and leave a message.
